Canada to provide Moldova with loan funds to support the state budget

“The funds will be used to support vulnerable families, integrate Ukrainian refugees, promote economic growth by increasing competition and strengthening the private sector, as well as to support climate change resilience and green energy transition,” the parliament said.

The loan will be disbursed in two tranches. Its repayment period is 10 years, including a three-year grace period.

The loan agreement was signed on September sixth, 2024.
